This page is great! :D Fae.
Thanks Fae! I’m hoping to update it with all the places I’ve been to and all the reviews I’ve written. It’s gonna b a long process >.<
I’m going to OSAKA AND KYOTO in a month! this is GREAT help! thanks so much. you know where i can find more review in english for pastry places(like la patisserie des reves) in osaka and kyoto? and your pictures are mouth watering. i have to buy a new laptop ;)
Thank you :) I haven’t come across any reviews for pastry places in Japan. I usually found out about them from word of mouth from my Japanese friends, wandering around and stumbling across them or I search the store’s main site to see if they have a shop near me :)
I see, but your blog is such a good help. The tea ceremony one, i’m definitely going! looks awesome.
Oh yay, great tell me how it goes! The tea ceremony was one of my favourite memories. It converted me into a matcha lover for life XD
Hey there
Cool blog with great info on sweet treats.
Quick question, where did you capture the photo of Mount Fuji you show under tokyo? Looks like there’s a bit of hiking involved. . .
Thanks
Cheers
Thank you for the kind words Dori! I took the photo at Owakudani, Hakone – wasn’t too much a hike because we took a cable car up to Owakudani and then a short walk around the place. Hakone is a beautiful place :)
oooh, so excited to have found this section of your fab blog! Am off to Japan VERY soon [beyond excited] so thrilled to see the recommendations for Kyoto :) Don’t suppose any of these places do decent coffee? I’ve been warned about coffee in a can but I am an out & proud coffee snob :)
Thank you for the kind words :D Haha to be honest never had a decent coffee in Japan – Starbucks started tasting good to me yikes! Good to be back in good old Adelaide with their amazing coffee <3
I’d love to go through this list when I have more time! You take amazing pictures and enjoyed reading some of your posts!
Thank you so much for the kind words :)
I’m so happy I’ve found your blog just weeks out of my Japan holiday! :D
Yay! I hope I’ve been helpful :D Have a great time in Japan
