About I Only Eat Desserts

A giant sweet tooth at heart, my love for beautiful desserts and photography collided together to create I Only Eat Desserts in 2012. I Only Eat Desserts is a place where I share photos of art-like desserts and explain why when you eat desserts the world becomes a better place. Although my readers know that my name is a lie – I also do non-dessert reviews :P

I hope that my blog will help people find a good meal and to discover the gems in Adelaide – we have it so good here. You’ll also find a sprinkle of travel from interstate to overseas slipping through the cracks as 6 months in Japan had given me a bad case of the travel bug.

About Me

My real name is Berny who secretly (or not so secretly) constantly thinks about food and plots what the next meal will be. I was born and raised in little old Adelaide as an ABC (Australian Born Chinese) where I grew up on a Chinese and Vietnamese hybrid diet. Am a lover of all things sweet, travel, American tv, books and photography. I can cook to survive if need be but definitely prefer eating out :)

    Hi loved reading your posts. You know what you like when it comes to macarons, I think that you should try some from The Almond Tree, you will be pleased with their products, they are hard to obtain as they are always booked out but are at plent on markets

    Love your blog….especially the Japan guide! If you come back for a visit, we would love to show some unique restaurants to enjoy some weird and crazy food in Tokyo.
