Lola’s Cupcakes, London

London doesn’t ask how, it asks why not. Why not eat cupcakes while you’re shopping? Smack bang in Topshop at Oxford Circus lies Lola’s Bakery with so many beautiful looking cupcakes. Come to mama.

I love basic flavours done right – there’s nothing that can beat a perfect vanilla cupcake. All those sweet whisperings from peanut butter or tiramisu tones were wiped out as I only had eyes for you vanilla. Moist, buttery vanilla cupcake with a good lather of fluffy vanilla buttercream. A good vanilla cupcake right in time to fight off those lunch hunger pangs and to continue on our shopping spree.

Look at this beautiful chocolate cupcake – this was H’s and I was too busy stuffing my face with mine to give it a try. Regret :(

A good pick me up cupcake but wouldn’t go out of my way to hunt them down. Take it as it comes guys!

I agree about basic flavours done well. They can look good but don’t necessarily taste good.

Oooh, cupcakes arranged in an array like this always look great! The colours, the texture and I bet the taste are just harmonising! Thanks for sharing!
