Coffylosophy, Adelaide

There is a point in life when you just start drinking coffee whether from an overworked uni project or after you just started working. Lucky for us we’ve got it pretty good with the coffee scene in Adelaide – it’s a good place to get addicted ;)

On a much overdue lunch date with G we decided to try out a new coffee spot on Hutt Street called Coffylosophy. The quesadilla was filled with well seasoned shredded beef, fresh tomato salsa and a tasty guacamole side – this would make a reasonable work lunch.

Look at this pretty citrus tart with a cute slice of lemon! Buttery shortbread tart with a tangy, sour lemon curd centre and dollops of torched, marshmallow meringue.  We cleaned this up real fast, licking the back of our forks to get the last traces :DIMGP0398

Citrus Tart ($6.90)

This peanut butter jelly cake sounded too delicious to ignore. The peanut butter mousse smacked me in the face with a peanut punch – YUM! Layered with a raspberry jelly centre that added sweetness and a peanut biscuit base to give an extra peanut hit. The purple casing was sticky like roll up but gave a candy raspberry kick that surprising went well with peanut butter.

Cosy little shop with friendly service – wouldn’t hesitate to come here to just grab a coffee and read the paper :)

It was pretty good – I’ve always avoided peanut butter jelly things (sounds weird) but this worked quite well :D

The citrus tart looked so good! Same with the peanut butter jelly. They look out-of-this-world!
