Hazelnut and I had managed to catch Eikando at it’s peak and it was the prettiest temple I had come across during all of Autumn. Colours were bursting from the trees where fiery reds was not an uncommon sight.
The photo below was one of my favourites but there was always something off about it. I finally realised it reminded me of a gravestone D:
Nothing is done by mistake by the Japanese – beautiful chains hung down the temples which allowed the rain to trickle down peacefully instead of water rushing and splashing everywhere from the roof.
