ETC (East Terrace Continental)
What is my 2nd favourite meal? (Yes I consider dessert a meal) Answer: brunch, I love breakfast food and one of my favourite places is ETC, mostly because it is so convenient for me to go to. One bad thing is that this place is absolutely packed for brunch
I usually end up here when I’m having a late lunch, about 1 – 1:30 when I can get a seat.
I ordered the eggs benedict, yummmm – the buttery hollandaise sauce went well with the runny poached eggs and crunchy english muffin.
Eggs Benedict with leg ham, tomato & hollandaise sauce on english muffins ($12.50)
The chicken burger had really good flavours, tender chicken and packed with veggies but it was extremely dry. I cannot stress this more than enough, it needed A LOT more sauce.
ETC Chicken Burger marinated chicken breast, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, egg, Spanish onion, fresh tomato, lettuce & ETC aioli ($13.50)
The coffee was also quite decent
Coffee – Mocha and Flat White
A photo of the most chilled out dog ever, not phased at all by the huge amount of people or cars whoosing past.
ETC does do good breakfast but be prepared to wait for the food to come out and for a seat if you are in peak time. I don’t think it does the best breakfast in Adelaide but I still quite like it when I am craving brunch, especially since it’s in the city center and not too out of the way.
