Amalfi Pizzeria Ristorante
By far one of my favourite cuisines is Italian. My favourite Italian restaurant you may ask? Silly, of course it is Amalfi’s. You cannot go wrong ordering anything from here – the pizzas, the pasta, the meal dishes, everything is absolutely delicious.

One of the first things I had ever tried from Amalfi’s was their Con Pollo. It was extraordinary, nothing I’ve ever tasted before. The thick, rich cream sauce topped with generous amounts of meat and mushrooms. I loved eating the apricots, random sweetness in this savoury dish which was a good surprise.

Con Pollo – Rigatoni, Chicken, Pancetta, Mushroom, Chives, Apricot, Pepper, Cream Sauce
Amalfi had the same Con Pollo sauce but a bit spicer, still nice but I like the Con Pollo better (apricots FTW).

Amalfi - Egg ribbon pasta with mushroom, pancetta, chilli and cream sauce
The monticello tasted really good for a salad, though I don’t think it was that healthy with it all being drenched in balsamic vinegar.

Monticello – baby spinach, balsamic, red onion, grilled chicken, mayonnaise, roasted capsicum, parmesan
Despite their good food one thing I really don’t like is the service. Don’t get me wrong, they do an alright job but I don’t like the air of pretentiousness, lack of care and the inattentiveness. Sigh, can’t win them all but I still love this place/food
Make sure you have a booking with them at least a week beforehand if you want to eat here on Fri, Sat or Sun. I would still make a booking on the weekdays but I have made a walk-in and plenty of seats were available.
