One of the greatest things about Adelaide is when you find those little gems hidden away in suburban streets. Queen St Cafe is one of those places, tucked away in the Western suburbs. This was the first true brunch place I’ve been to for a long time (sad I know, maccas doesn’t count I think). I had gotten a small mocha which was quite nice, my memory gets fuzzy here.
Once the scrambled eggs were set done on the table, it just wafted of delicious-ness. Looked great, smelt great and tasted great. This dish was divine – tasty mushrooms, soft and fluffy egg paired with toasted and crunchy bread mmm.

I’ve also tried the poached eggs, chorizo and tomato compote but it was very ordinary for me. I was expecting a lot more, next time I will stick with the scrambled eggs.
